Welcome to the Rarities and Microlot selection. I want to take a moment to introduce you. We dedicate this page to what we commonly call "experience" coffees. The difference between our microlots and usual coffee isn't quality (both are excellent) but, instead, a purpose. We spend countless hours combing the coffee-growing globe in search of the truly unique and uncommon to offer you something that you otherwise might have never gotten to experience — maybe circumstances of weather or the age of the trees yielded something fascinating. Something that didn't exist the year before and won't exist the following year, or perhaps, interesting or experimental processing methods that create a flavor you never knew could exist in coffee. We're delighted to offer these experiences to you and hopefully give you a fascinating cup.

You’ll notice these coffees are a bit pricey. That’s because microlots and experimentals generally cost more to produce, and we strive to ensure the farms we work with are compensated fairly. In addition to that, these offerings will only come in 12oz bags with substantially reduced shipping. This ensures that more people can enjoy these truly wonderful options!
